Football Nova Scotia is pleased to announce the appointment of Che Morales as its new Program Manager.
In his new role, Morales will take on the task of growing and developing Football NS leagues as well as athletes development at the provincial and grassroots level.
Morales comes with a wealth of experience and talent to the role. Currently, the native of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is an assistant offensive line coach with the Saint Mary’s Huskies.
Additionally, Morales has been involved with the provincial under-18 team as the offensive line coach for the past two years (2022 and 2023). He also was a coach at the high school level with the Auburn Drive Eagles.
Morales enjoyed a successful career on and off the field at St Francis Xavier University. On the field, he excelled as an offensive lineman with the X-Men, helping the team win the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) Conference Championship in 2021. Morales was also named a USPORTS second team All-Canadian in 2021.
As a student, Morales graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree double major in psychology and sociology. Making an impact, Morales helped to implement an anti-racism policy and protocol at StFX as a member of the President’s Action Committee.
Prior to his university career, Morales suited up for the Woodlawn Panthers and Team Nova Scotia (2015 & 2016).
