Non-Contact Football—
Football Nova Scotia
Non-contact football is a modified version of tackle (contact) football which provides participants with the opportunity to develop many of the same skills, tactics, and strategies, and allows team members to be immersed in the same field-family community, all without significant physical contact.
Non-Contact Football
With continued emphasis on player safety as well as increasing developments in concussion awareness and management, many football programs are turning to non-contact forms of the game. Flag football and touch football are both versions of non-contact football. Football Nova Scotia has adopted the 5v5 flag football model as the standard for the province.
